Driver's door window buttons not working and stuck in roof down mode. Recently got my hands on an 08' E88. Everything has been fine except recently the driver's side window controller stopped working. Try the poor mans coding trick. This has worked for LCM issues for me in the past, might be worth a shot. Disconnect your battery for 20 minutes, then use a wrench and short the positive and negative cables together (not while attached to the battery). I know this post is as old as sin but, I have a 2003 2.5 and i just coded it to lower and raise the *soft* top via the key fob. all power top z4s have the option. it just needs to be activated. you can also set it to raise and lower while driving up to 28km/h or 18.64 mph.
