I bought Mass Effect Andromeda and NFS Payback during Steam's New Year sale and both games do not save your progress and so you're stuck playing the intro over and over again. In Origin, I already went into the game properties and the Cloud Save option is already enabled for all games. On top of that, I set the security options on my PC to Full Control and I still HI guys, I am installed nfs but when i am opening the game i got error like "Origin is not installed and is required to play game.Please reinstall origin" the game support xbox controllers but the game itself isn't that great. #1. The things I tried to find a solution. Run as Administrator. Update .NET and Visual C++. Reinstall both game and Frosty Mod Manager. I've reinstalled this twice, once on Steam and a second time via Origin (which just directs to Steam anyway) - didn't work. I've verified, changed the folder name, "uninstalled", renamed back and "reinstalled" several times as well - Origin refuses to recognise that the game is properly installed, validated and ready to go. To get it working for the steam versions follow the information below. -Disable the DatapathFix (tools, options, DatapathFix) before playing NFS Rivals and 2015 -Enable your frosty launch options (tools, options, launch options, click enable platform launching) to EA Desktop and you can now launch the game and mods should work -If you launched #needforspeed #needforspeedpayback #nfs #nfspayback #eagames #cars #speed #race #carrace GOT IT! :-) 1) quit steam a run it again as an administrator. 2) download and install Origin app manually from their website and run it as administrator as well. 3) now the game should appear as installed and you can play.. works for me like a charm, the problem is somewhere in bad communication between those apps.. #2. When it should be the end of the download , it starts downloading again as if it wants to keep overwriting files that were already previously downloaded. I have not had a problem with other games, they always downloaded, finished and saved to installed but Need for Speed Payback is an exception to this. (CM Edit - moving to NFS for visibility) .
