Some of people have the right kind of keyboard to use console right away, just go to Options->Keyboard/Mouse and Enable developer console. Others: Launch L4D2 and go to settings->enable developer console. Go back to Steam interface and right click L4D2 in game library and choose launch properties. Write "-console". Hello survivors I do this " try to put -console in the launch option. go to lib > right click at l4d > properties > look for Set Launch Option after that, you can close properties window and launch the game, the console will pop up right after loading screen. you can use command "bind" "any button" "toggleconsole"( bind "x" "toggleconsole"). then quit the game and re-open and try to use bound if you open up a command prompt (cmd.exe) and do something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2 Dedicated Server\srcds.exe" -console -game left4dead2 +exec server.cfg +map "c1m4_atrium survival" +sv_pure 1 +sv_lan 0 the server will start and players can connect just fine however with some serious problems Originally posted by Brock: in order for you to see Steam Group Servers at the right bottom you need to be following the Left 4 Dead 2 community hub, just scroll all the way up on this page, click on "All" on the left, then on the right click on "Follow".
